Wedding Cakes

The are a couple of options. Given the ease of technology the whole process can be done over email with inspiration pics, sizes and quotes going back and forth. Start saving all those cake ideas, setting up those Pinterest boards and then get in touch.

If you prefer a more personal touch you can book in a time to meet with Jennifer to go over the options in our shop.

All our wedding cakes are unique and there are plenty of options when it comes to what you want. As such the price of the cake will vary depending on factors such as the size of the cake, what addition (fresh flowers etc) and the level of detail or customisation.

You can get an idea on base prices from our sizes and pricing page but the best way is to get in touch with us to discuss your design aspirations.

Payment is due two weeks before your big day, a deposit is required to secure your spot.

This depends on servings required and if you require smaller coffee serves or larger dessert serves. The design of the cake will also factor into the size as a shorter/wider cake can have similar serving amounts to a taller thinner design.

You may also consider having the feature cake and then a larger "kitchen cake" to be cut up for the guests.

Our cake sizes and based on two standard portion sizes:

DESSERT size portions = 1" x 2" x 5" per piece

COFFEE size portion = 1" x 1" x 5" per piece

Please note that the actual number of sizes will depend on the way the cake is cut.

If you are providing other dessert options then you may only need the smaller coffee serves to accompany or if you want cake to be the main attraction go with the larger dessert serve option.

Have one less thing to worry about and leave this to us! we are happy to navigate the far reaches of Wellington and make sure the cake arrives in one piece (or the correct pieces if assembly is required)

We will set up the cake on site and will be able to attend to any touch ups as required.

There are some factors that will determine the delivery cost such as distance to travel and what is needed to happen on the other end. Best to get in touch with us to discuss.

Yes you can however preference if for us to deliver so that you don't have the extra stress of getting it to the venue safely.

We waive any responsibility for damages to cakes once they have been picked up and left the store. If we have to do any fix ups after this there will be additional charges.

Due to the nature and sizing of some cakes pickup is just not an option as there may be assembly etc required by us on site.
